I have always loved embroidering, but it's been a while...

so lately I have been practicing my embroidering skills!

Here, I only used french knots and made cute little flowers!

My First Embroidery Project

DIY Embroidery Hoop

Yesterday when I bought supplies for embroidering, I completely forgot to buy a hoop! haha silly me (: so I looked around my house & tried to find something that could be used as a hoop, & guess what I found.....a jar lid, and it worked out perfectly!

All you really need for this is a jar that has a lid with two parts like the one shown in the picture above, & a rubber band that will fit nice and tight around the lid. You just place your fabric over the lid then wrap the rubber band around, & voila! an instant embroidery hoop!
